about

What are the media telling us is currently in fashion to be upset about? How quickly other problems are ignored and forgotten. Echo chambers screaming over each other in an attempt to appear virtuous for vanity’s sake. Keyboard warriors spouting empty words and flippant hashtags feigning that they care. It's sickening.

lyrics

VERSE 1:
Unless they provide, you don’t care.
Veiled totalitarian.
Feigned unity creating a greater divide,
Only seeing labels, not humans -
Segregation.

CHORUS:
I can’t take your crooked smile,
I can’t see through those double eyes.
I think you’ve been blind for a while.
I think you’ll soon find out the lies.

VERSE 2:
Wanting to live but stuck in this false world,
Surrounded by bleating sheep.
We’re living in a haze and we are lawless,
Who do you revere?
Romanticised idea of life.

CHORUS:
I can’t take your crooked smile,
I can’t see through those double eyes.
I think you’ve been blind for a while.
I think you’ll soon find out the lies.

BRIDGE:
Just a game,
Lies and fabrications.
The web tears.
I feel sick.

CHORUS:
I can’t take your crooked smile,
I can’t see through those double eyes.
I think you’ve been blind for a while.
I think you’ll soon find out the lies.
